
DAY 01 SINGAPORE / KUCHING Depart by scheduled flight for Kuching, the capital city of Sarawak. Meet upon arrival and transfer to your choice of hotels. Free time for you to take short exploratory trip around your hotel. DAY 02 ANAH RAIS (BIDAYU) LONGHOUSE - SEMENGGOH WILDLIFE REHABILITATION CENTRE (Breakfast, Lunch) After breakfast, take a scenic drive passing through lush green countryside dotted with padi fields, pepper gardens, rubber plantations and flanked by jungle-clad mountains before arriving at the longhouse. Anah Rais Longhouse, which stands on the same site where it was built 200 years ago. Its unique architecture built mainly of bamboo, wood and leaves. The Bidayuh or Land Dayaks are absolutely wwarm and gentle people, well known for their hospitality and are reputed to be the best makers of tuak or rice wine. Then drive to Semenggoh Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, which provides a rare opportunity to be at close encounter with the semi-wild orang utan, who have been rescued from captivity and trained to survive in the surrounding forest reserve. The rehabilitated animals roam freely in the rainforest and often return to the centre at feeding times. Thereafter, transfer to Sarawak Cultural Village - This award-winning living museum showcases Sarawak's unique and diverse cultures in an accessible, visitor-friendly setting. The seven suthentic traditional buildings are set amidst a scenic 17 acre site and are populated by members ethnic groups going about everyday activities. These include wood and bamboo carving, beadwork, weaving, sago making, sugar cane crushing, pepper growing and the preparation of bird's nest. Visitors can learn how to throw a Malay spinning top, shoot a Penan blowpipe or pick out a tune on an Orang Ulu sape. The tours concludes with a colorful multi-ethnic cultural performance in the village's air-conditioned mini theatre. After the performance assemble at the village entrance gate for your transfer back to the hotel. DAY 03 KUCHING (Breakfast) Free day for you to explore the main streets of Kuching city for your shopping of local products and handicrafts and you can view historical buildings built during the White Rajah era or visit the world famous Sarawak Museum (all within walking distance from your city hotel) DAY 04 KUCHING / SINGAPORE (Breakfast) Bid farewell to Sarawak as you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back to Singapore. **Sequence of itinerary are subject to change without prior notice ____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Choice of Hotel:
